These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and Amroja LLC ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the website nowigetit.us and the Now I Get It! service (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

Now I Get It! is a web-based service that transforms scientific research papers into interactive, easy-to-understand web pages. The Service operates as follows:

• You upload a PDF document of a scientific research paper.
• The Service uses artificial intelligence technology to analyze the paper and generate an interactive web page that explains its content in accessible language.
• The generated page is published at a unique URL and may be publicly accessible for sharing.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload documents that contain malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
• Upload content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.
• Upload documents that you do not have the right to share or that violate the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or any related systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly authorized by us.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without our written permission.

We reserve the right to refuse service, remove content, or suspend your access at our sole discretion if we determine that your conduct violates these Terms.

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the documents you upload to the Service. By uploading a document, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and temporarily store the document solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Generated Content

The interactive pages generated by the Service are derivative works created through our proprietary process. We grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to view, share, and link to the generated pages. You may not reproduce, modify, or create derivative works from the generated pages without our prior written consent.

Our Platform

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, user interface, and branding, is owned by Amroja LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.

The content generated by the Service is produced using artificial intelligence technology and is intended for informational and educational purposes only. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated explanations may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. The generated content should not be relied upon as a substitute for reading the original research paper.
• The Service does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on any information provided.
• We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.
• The generated content reflects an AI interpretation of the source material and may not fully or faithfully represent the authors' findings, conclusions, or intent.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are responsible for determining whether the content of your uploaded document is appropriate for sharing.
• We are not responsible for how others may use or redistribute content you choose to share.
• We can remove a generated page from our servers upon request, but we cannot control copies that may have been made by third parties.

We take your data seriously. Here is a summary of how we handle your content:

• Uploaded PDFs are temporarily stored for processing and are automatically deleted after processing is complete. Abandoned uploads that are not confirmed within 1 hour are also automatically deleted.
• Generated pages are retained indefinitely unless you request their removal.
• Account information, if applicable, is retained while your account is active.

The Service relies on third-party providers for infrastructure, AI processing, analytics, and other functionality. These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which are separate from these Terms.

We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of third-party services. Your use of the Service constitutes your acknowledgment that third-party services are involved in delivering the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AMROJA LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service.
• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions.
• Any third-party conduct or content on the Service.
• Any other matter relating to the Service.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Amroja LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the Service.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any rights of a third party, including intellectual property rights.
• Any content you upload to the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, abusive behavior, or requests from law enforcement.

You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have an account, you may request account deletion by contacting us.

Upon termination, any unused credits in your account are forfeited (see Section 13). The following sections of these Terms shall survive: Intellectual Property, AI-Generated Content Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Purchases, Credits, and Refunds, Governing Law, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive termination.

Purchases. All credit pack purchases are final. Because credits provide immediate access to a digital processing service, no refunds will be issued once a purchase is complete. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you are buying a non-refundable digital product.

Automatic Credit Refunds. If a paper fails during processing — due to content rejection during screening, a system error, or a timeout — the credits deducted for that job are automatically returned to your account. No action is required on your part.

Credit Adjustments for Unusable Output. If your processed result page is broken, fails to render, or is otherwise unusable due to a system error, you may submit a support request through our support page. We will review the request and, at our sole discretion, may issue a credit adjustment to your account. Credit adjustments will not be issued in cases where the user added custom instructions as these may lead to unpredictable results from the AI.

Chargebacks. If you believe there is an error with your purchase, please contact us through our support page before initiating a dispute with your bank or card issuer. Filing a chargeback for a legitimate purchase may result in suspension of your account.

No Cash Value. Credits are not legal tender or currency of any kind and have no cash value. Your credit balance is not a bank account, digital wallet, stored value account, gift certificate, or other payment device. Credits represent a prepaid right to use the Service and are not redeemable, refundable, or exchangeable for any sum of money or monetary value.

Non-Transferable. Credits are non-transferable. You may not sell, trade, gift, or otherwise transfer credits to any other person or account. Credits are exclusively for use by the account holder who purchased them.

Credit Validity. Purchased credits do not expire while your account remains active. The number of credits required per paper varies based on the complexity and length of the document.

Forfeiture on Account Closure. If your account is terminated or closed — whether by you or by us — any unused credits in your account are forfeited and will not be refunded, transferred, or restored. This applies regardless of the reason for closure, including voluntary account deletion, termination for Terms violations, or suspension due to fraud.

Service Discontinuation. In the event that we permanently discontinue the Service, we will provide reasonable advance notice to all users with unused credit balances and a window to use remaining credits before shutdown. After that window closes, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to refund the unused portion of any purchased credits at their original purchase price. Refunds are subject to the limitations of our payment processor and may not be possible for purchases made beyond the processor's refund window or where the original payment method is no longer valid. This provision does not apply to credits obtained through promotional offers, bonuses, or any method other than direct purchase.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
